Gemini is capable of progressing right from datacenters to Mobile phones. It can be deployed/categorized according to the tasks (i.e.)

• Gemini Ultra — It is the most capable and largest model for performing highly complex tasks.


• Gemini Pro — It is the best model for scaling across a wide range of tasks.


• Gemini Nano — It is the most efficient model for on-device tasks

Gemini Ultra is the first model to excel human experts on MMLU (massive multitask language understanding), and it uses a combination of 57 subjects such as math, physics, history, law, medicine and ethics for testing both world knowledge and problem-solving abilities.

Google is planning to make Gemini Ultra available to their selected customers, developers, partners, safety and responsibility experts for early experimentation and collectively gather their feedback before rolling it out to developers and enterprise customers early the following year.

Google also has plans in bringing the Gemini to Pixel, therefore Pixel 8 Pro is the first smartphone which is engineered to run on Gemini Nano.This is enlisted with new features like Summarizing in the Recorder app and rolling out in Smart Reply in Gboard, starting with WhatsApp, Line and Kakao Talk

Mr. Demis also added that the Gemini will be available in more of the google products and services like Search, Ads, Chrome and Duet AI.

Google team is already in the process of experimenting with Gemini in Search, in order to make the Search Generative Experience (SGE) faster for the users, with a 40% reduction in latency in English in the U.S., along with the improvements in quality.

It is more astonishing to know that the Gemini can understand and generate and explain high -quality code in most of the programming languages like Python, Java, C++ and GO. Henceforth it can be considered as one of the leading foundation models for coding.

The team promises that the Gemini runs significantly faster than the smaller, earlier and less-capable models. These custom-designed AI accelerators are serving as the heart of Google's AI-powered products which in turn serve the billions of users using Search, YouTube, Gmail, Google Maps, Google Play and Android Apps.
